i still remember the clear blue skies, the cattle roaming the roads, the long and winding journey on the four-wheel drive, stars so near that it seemed like i can grab hold and keep them safely in my pocket, the freezing cold night with no heater at the base camp, the kids so young but taught to beg yet so easily satisfied, sitting at one corner of tashilunpo chitchatting with our tour guide

perhaps someday, i would find my way.
